Vancancy 1:

University of Basel is offering two open PhD and one postdoc position in the field of aerosol composition, instrument development and field measurements of aerosol oxidative potential using our online home-built online “aerosol-OP analysers”. Students with an atmospheric and/or analytical/physical chemistry would be especially well-suited for this project.

Vancancy 2:

Applications are sought for (1) Sales & Applications Engineer, (2) Manufacturing Engineer, and (3) R&D Engineer within Catalytic Instruments GmbH & Co.KG.

• Networking to universities, automotive suppliers, environmental agencies①, ③.
• Active participation at scientific congresses, workshops, shows & monitor market trends①, ③.
• Communication with customers, regulatory bodies & clarification of technical requirements①, ②, ③.
• Support marketing activities – website creation, online marketing, flyer, publications①.
• Develop, coordinate, and monitor new product designs①, ②, ③.
• Computer Aided Design (CAD) with SolidWorks②, ③
• Assembly of electromechanical products②
• Documentation for QA purposes. ②, ③
• Perform & evaluate aerosol measurements for evaluation and performance tests②, ③.
